President Ronald Reagan said, "Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."
The political budget battles characterize that famous statement. They have done all of the above and still can't get enough money. They just can't stop spending and are getting ready to turn us upside down and shake us! It may not come in tax increases, but look out for higher costs from inflation caused by all the funny money they're printing.
