Did you ever wonder where the folks who write those headlines live or the exact location of their heads? Gasoline prices have gone nuts and every time I go to the grocery the items I buy have increased from 20% to 30%. Airlines have jumped their prices and nearly every vendor our company does business with has raised prices (or tried to) in the past two years.
This round of inflation started before Bush "bailed out" Wall Street and the banking system. It got worse when Obama "stimulated" the economy. Yet the government has the audacity to say, "Consumer prices rose only 2.1% over the last 12 months." That may be, unless you want to eat, heat your home, drive your car or go someplace on vacation.
