BUY vs SOLD

People like to buy a service that will satisfy their needs. But they don’t want to feel like they are being sold. This is one of the secrets of good selling. Another is to make your prospect feel satisfied after making their decision to purchase your Carpet Cleaning service.

One of the best ways to help your prospect make this decision is to “demonstrate” the effectiveness of your service. For a large commercial account, a live demonstration is the best way, if time allows. If time does not allow or is not appropriate as in a residential job, then use your resources. You can “demonstrate” the effectiveness of your service by having a portfolio of pictures of before and after cleaning or a short video presented on a iPad or similar device. Also, letters of recommendation and testimonials help not only to prove the effectiveness of your service but show credibility. Also, having advertising material that you can leave with your prospect shows that you are professional.

Demonstrations, whether they be live, pictorials or videos, lend interest and conviction to your presentation. They will help separate you from your competitors.

All this will allow your prospects to buy from you rather than being sold.
